Poetry in Motion

This hand-drawn animation, created in Procreate, captures the fluid sequence of a basketball move to shake off a defender and take the open shot. Inspired by Kobe Bryant’s signature shimmy step-back, I set out to translate his graceful motion into a minimalist sketch animation—an exploration of movement, rhythm, and character through traditional frame-by-frame animation.
